The complete Microsoft Surface line-up compared

Microsoft's current Surface range includes four Windows devices: the Surface Pro, Surface Laptop,
Surface Book and Surface Studio. They have some huge differences, so you'll want to make sure you
buy the right one.

Surface Pro

The Surface Pro is the cheapest of the four, starting at £799. It's primarily a powerful tablet 12in
running a full version of Windows 10, but you can buy a keyboard at an additional cost to turn it into
a more portable and versatile laptop.
The Surface Pro is available to pre-order now from Microsoft, with a total of 6 configurations available:

Surface Laptop

The Surface Laptop is next in the line-up, starting at £979. This touchscreen laptop doesn't have a

like the Surface Laptop, but it offers a higher resolution and better specs overall.
It's essentially the Surface Pro but better (and more expensive) – the screen can detach to be used as
a tablet, and it comes with the Surface Pen included. It has an incredible hinge, too, which means you
can fold the Surface Book back on itself to be used in what Microsoft calls Draw Mode.
